College is amazing.

Even though we’ve only been here for about three weeks, I feel like I’ve lived here forever. I love my roommate to death, and although we were close before, we have now become like sisters. We always joke around that we’re in the “Honeymoon Stage”. Haha.

I took my first exam today–math. I can’t say I feel good or bad about it. It’s just…eh. There was a 10 point problem that got me stuck. If all goes well, I think I should have gotten an 85 or 90 on that test. If not, I will be very disappointed. I’m really shooting for a 3.5 (Dean’s List) this semester. I’m just really hoping I don’t struggle and that I learn to adjust my studying habits. So far I haven’t been doing much studying…blah.

I’m slowly making new friends as well. I used to be this outgoing, crazy girl, and now I feel so shy and small. I mean, I guess it’s normal. I’m a whole new place and I don’t know anyone…but it’d be nice to be able to break out of my shell again. It sucks being so shy when that’s not how my personality is!

All in all, I’m lovin it here. Those rare visits back home (I’ve already had 2…haha!) I just feel like I belong here at MSU.
