Let me just say that I am horrible at updating. Summer is winding down and the end is coming, so I’ve been trying to be out as best a I can. I can’t believe how fast time is flying! I feel like yesterday I graduated, and now I’m preparing myself for my first year of college. It’s all so crazy!

Nothing too exciting lately, although last weekend my mother threw me a huge Filipino birthday bash. It was supposed to be my debutante ball, but I did not want to learn a choreographed waltz (considering I am not so good at dancing) and perform it in front of everyone, so she settled for a big Sweet-16-esque birthday party. To say it was fun would be an understatement. I was surprised at how amazing it turned out! I loved my dress and my cake and the DJ. He was so sweet, he worked for our local big radio station and he was just this big sweetheart. And I loved that Taylor came…even though it was his own birthday. What a sweetheart! We all danced throughout the night.

Later on, I requested the song “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift (which just happens to be mine and Taylor’s song, haha), and we started to sing it to each other…when all of a sudden he just got off the dance floor. I was so peeved, I just kept dancing with Ben and sulked a bit, haha. Out of nowhere, Taylor just hugs me from behind, holding a piece of paper that said “I love you” on it. If you don’t know why this made me happy, you really need to watch the music video to “You belong with me”. It’s so cute!

Nothing much lately, just going out and working out all day every day. I went to an Indian grad party on Saturday and learned some sweet Indian dance moves. I lovee their culture. Also went to my ffriend’s Russian grad party yesterday and had some amazing food. Just feeling super cultural this weekend, lol. I’ve just been trying to savor these last few summer days. -tear- I went to a goodbye party for my friend who is moving cross country to Utah…it’s just so surreal that we’re actually all going to be leaving within this next month. Ugh. I hate it.

Going to bed now, it’s 1 AM and I’m tired.
