Homecoming & Crazy Parties.

Today I went dress shopping for Jon’s homecoming with my mom. I tried on about 4 colors of the same style of dress, and 2 other dresses I liked. I narrowed it down to THIS THIS. They’re both the same dress in different colors, however, I REALLY like the teal one better. My mom made me buy both of them because she was in love with the gold/beige one, but I think I’m going to wear the teal one. On the website, the teal one was sold out completely, so that must be a good thing (or maybe bad if someone else wears it?). Tomorrow, I’m dress shopping at these small, cute boutiques with my friends for homecoming at MY school. It’s seriously a MUST that everyone gets unique dresses. ’cause we’re such girls. :b

After I went shopping, I got home at about 10 and headed out to my friend Chelsea’s party with Michelle. We stopped and rented movies first, so we got there at about 10:50. We were driving down Chelsea’s street, when suddenly, we saw cops sitting outside her house. Michelle and I started panicking, and we drove around the corner to another exit and parked at an abandoned parking lot. I started calling my sister and my friends to warn them, but no one answered. Finally, my friend Crystal answered the phone, and was whispering, “Rachel…I saw the cop. He pointed his flashlight at me. I’m hiding in Chelsea’s mom’s room.” The only thing I wanted to do was get my sister out of that house. I called my sister’s boyfriend, also Chelsea’s neighbor, and told him I was going to his house to talk to his mom as a cover to see if the cops were still lurking. Turns out the cops left, so my sister, her boyfriend, and Crystal ran out the back and into my car, and my sister started balling like mad. Apparently she had to hide in a storage box for an hour and she was hysterical from the fear. All I can say is that I am VERY grateful that everyone is okay. I’m not sure if the cop got a search warrant on the house, but hopefully Chelsea is fine as well as all the people who stayed behind. Michelle and I were SO happy that we are always DD. Although I heard you could get in trouble for being “involved” with a party even if you don’t drink. Blah.

As for the new layout/updates, I still have not gotten my other computer to work. It’s such a pain to work with. It seems like it never works when I NEED it too. Also, to the anonymous commenter, I AM still accepting a couple of hostees, but will be closing hosting v. soon.

Oops.

I, unfortunately, have seemed to neglect my site. However, this is not the case. I know—I’m a whole bunch of sorry excuses. But I really will get a new layout and updates up as soon as I can. I am horrible.

Also, I have a plethora of new hostees that I will plug as soon as I update. They are wonderful. :)

Procrastination.

I’ve really hit that stage of summer where I don’t want to do anything. This, if you haven’t noticed, includes my website. In fact, I’ve been playing Rock Band a lot with my friends…talk about productive. :P I promise I will update as SOON as I can. However, I’ve been quite the lazy person. I will fix this soon. I hope.

I’ve gotten two new lovely hostees as well.
Joan and Cally Amber! Visit them when they’re ready! ;]

I hope the rest of you enjoy the lovely, closing weeks of summer.

Ciao!

Time flies.

Ahh. I can’t believe how fast time flies. It’s already mid-August! It’s insane. And sadly, with the end of summer comes the beginning of school. Time just went by so fast…I feel like I wasted my summer doing nothing. I registered for school on Monday (something we have to do every year) and it was so weird…and annoying…to be inside the school. Blah, I just can’t wait to get out! And no, I still have not begun my AP English homework. That’s procrastination/laziness for ya. Summer is definitely NOT the time to be doing homework, in my mind. :b Anyways, I find it so weird that this is going to be my last highschool year. So September 3rd is going to be my LAST first day of school. Oh man, I am reminiscing so much right now just realizing everything. I mean, I recall being in like, 6th grade and thinking, “College is so far away! I have so much time to figure out what I want to do with my life”, yet here I am, still indecisive about my future. All I know is that I am going to make this one hell of a year.

Last night we watched Mirrors and I, of course, was scared throughout the whole movie. In fact, I don’t think I watched the whole second half. I am such a wimp when it comes to horrors/thrillers/etc. No matter how corny or stupid the plot seems to be, I still get creeped out. The atmosphere was great, though. Everyone in the the thearer was screaming at the same time and laughing with each other. It was great fun. Tonight, I also watched A Walk To Remember with my sister and her boyfriend. I haven’t seen that movie in SO long. I still cried, though. I’m such a girl. :b

Expect a new layout soon(ish)…when I’m not so lazy. ;)

QUESTIONS:
What grade are you entering? (If applicable)
Do/did you enjoy school?
What is/was the best part about school? (…if there is any…)

Also, my best friend sent me a video and it totally reminded me of our relationship. I would be the annoying one, and he would be the annoyed one. It seriously relates to us SO well.

Honey, I’m Home!

It’s great to be back! Although Europe was quite amazing, I get awfully homesick very fast. But I loved it!

Our first stop was London, England, where we met up with my aunt and 2 cousins. The first night, we didn’t get to do much. We stayed there a night before taking a train to Paris. The people I met in London were hilarious, though. They were very nice people. :) Next, we went to Paris, where we went to the Eiffel Tower and roamed around looking at landmarks. However, we weren’t very well liked. The clubs would not let my brother or any of his friends in (one of them even made a remark saying, ‘Stupid Americans’) and as soon as we got there, my brother got scolded—very loudly—for not understanding French. I guess the saying is true? Then came Rome and Venice, Italy, which I absolutely adored. The people and landmarks gave out such a good vibe. My brother took me along to the bars (seeing as they don’t really have a drinking limit) and this Italian guy tried dancing with me. Of course, my brother had to get defensive and the poor guy was like, “What did I do wrong?!” Bah, it was fun though. I loved it there! Then we came to to England and went to Buckingham Palace and roamed some more. It was such fun. Very expensive, but fun nonetheless. :)

When we got home, I found out my dwarf hamster, Roids, died. :( RIP Roids.

Also, I got a new hostee :) VISIT MICHAEL!

Anywho, I am pretty jetlagged so I will go take a break. Thank you for the lovely comments everyone ;)
